There Are Wounds who Emanate Voice

Openings, scars, cuts, slashes, abrasions, raptures, intrusions, excavations, craters on our corporality accompany every human movement. Every movement is enabled by breath, the same breath that resonates the voices of our past wounds. The constant song that accompanies our presence is sung by a chorus of voices emanating from these wounds.

The audio installation encompasses three ceramic sculptures representing physical wounds.
Two of the sculptures have built-in loudspeakers. The third has a built-in microphone that picks up signals from the activity in the room. The activity is then amplified through the built-in speakers, creating audio feedback that is reminiscent of feedback from real wounds.
